Why do I keep getting pop ups on iPhone on every thread I click on taking me to a rewards page for loyalty via Facebook and Boots.
Literally every thread.
Deleted cache cookies history etc but it’s onlu on TWTD. All day today |  |

I’m not sure it’s just an Apple issue though. Seems to be a problem with the site exclusively. I don’t think it’s Zed who needs to take action. Even mid-way through typing a post the page will zoom in and redirect.
EDIT: even more unusable than yesterday. The redirections are those peak annoyance ones which make the ‘back’ button redundant. Somebody put the Zed bat-light in the sky when it’s resolved or if I’m needed. I’m off to have some morning ganja and a break from technology. One love. [Post edited 23 Mar 2019 8:27]

If you use sites and visit 50 pages you might see the same things there. I have done on ebay for example, so it's not exclusive to us.
Someone has said it's happening on ipads so I'll investigate that. It's just happened on MarkTWTDs so it should happen on mine too. | |

It's not so much a case of seeing it, but being redirected to it regardless of what you do or what you click on. You could type twtd.co.uk/forum into your mobile browser, click on a thread and get redirected to the URL posted earlier. Other times you can access the thread without a problem, but clicking page 2 takes you to that other website.
It's not just clicking through pages which triggers it though. If you're typing a response to a post on mobile, all of a sudden the entire page will zoom in by itself. If you attempt to zoom back out so you can see the whole text box to continue typing it redirects you. Once it's zoomed in, you know by clicking into the text box again it will take you to the other website.
Only seems to be a mobile issue for me. | |
