He plays up front for Cardiff as well.

I presume you mean Calum Paterson that Wiki describes as "mainly played for Hearts as a right-back, but was also sometimes used as a striker. Since moving to Cardiff he has mainly played as a midfielder, but will occasionally play higher up the pitch to help aid the attack. He has been praised for his work rate, pace, aerial ability, positioning, and goalscoring prowess." so hardly actually a right back.

Warnock has gone on record saying that he can't defend even joking that Hearts sold him a dud.

He played a lot of games up top for Cardiff the first half of this season and went on a little run of scoring goals which is probably why a lot on here know he can play there.

Still a full back in my eyes too though

The fans are disgusted apparently.

'How did this Scottish team score twice against us?', they ask.

Its only a crude estimate, but I reckon Bale played something like 100 games at full back at first team level.

I make you right.

40 apps for Southampton and 50 odd for Tottenham before being given a chance at left wing in August/September 2010.

I wanted us to sign him when he was at Hearts, I watched a few games and he played in, and very well, a different position every game.

Malcolm MacDonald was another right back converted to striker. I believe it was Bobby Robson who did that, buying him for Fulham and then switching him to a striker.

It worked out pretty well.
