Where does that leave us?

To be fair, its a lot closer than last time.

Didnt Corbyn mention something previously about putting it back ti the people?

Maybe in another 20 votes she might sneak it.

The deal should be dead. Bringing it back time and time again under slightly different circumstances, while deliberately running down the clock, is a fooking disgrace.

I seriously think that not a single person in the country actually knows where that leaves us!

My money's on a GE now.

Options are narrowing.
If there is no 'peoples vote' the option is a GE
A democraic intervention
It is pretty obvious that there is not the competency in government to continue with muddling.
If the tories wanted to change leader to change policy would that be right without a GE?

That doesnt make sense though....

....its OK to have three GE's in 3 years, but not OK to have a second vote on Brexit?

Unless something substantial happens its no deal on the 12th April at the moment.

Unless TM caves and accepts something other than her own deal.

Latest number crunching suggests they don't get a majority, even with support from the DUP. It'd likely mean a rainbow coalition of everyone but the Tories and DUP.

I don't think it's the greatest of ideas in terms of just more uncertainty, flux, time spent etc etc, but perhaps it'd be an alternative way of getting out of an impasse? Parties could campaign on almost the EU issue alone, alliances and coalitions could be formed across parties - dunno, just thinking out loud really.

Default must now be to revoke Article 50 and agree to a cooling down/working things out phase which will likely take a few years if we're to give any certainty to people and organisations potentially affected.

That's the only viable exit plan now.

It has more impact if you do it with less frequency.

Yep I know but TM will have to accept a longer extension which will include taking part in EU elections.

She said that was not an option so she will have to do a major U turn if she is capable.

The withdrawal agreement just voted down is required for any of the 8 other options to happen so no idea what happens next.

No time to create new legislation before 12th April so it gonna be a long long extension which the EU also said they do not want.

Personally I would favour a second referendum and GE.
