My real hope is that PL has persuaded ME to top up his investment in the Academy and gain Category 1 status. Now the yellow peril from up the road are moving aggressively into Suffolk and will soon have 4 training centres in Ipswich alone (Kesgrave High School the latest) we have to react. We can't just sit back and allow this without fighting back!
Us fans should support the Academy as much as we can. The club needs us more than ever. I already support the Blues Foundation and I pledge to sponsor the Academy and/or an academy player if Marcus can achieve Cat.1

Cat 1 is about a £5m commitment now, so is it worth the investment when the return is so unpredictable? I’d put £3m extra on the transfer/wage budget |  | | |

They are all over north Essex too luv, a couple of boys in my son's Sunday team play at their Academy on Tuesday near Braintree. | |

They have one near Brentwood too I believe a cousins son played for them for a bit but when they wanted him to go to Norwich they refused, think he's going to play for Colchester next season. Yes we did try to get him but the scout annoyed my cousin and her husband by constantly calling and telling them they would regret it. | | | |
