I thought we were just really poor all round to be honest. Bree did okay, Bishop had a few moments. That aside it was abject. No real system or pattern of play, zero goal threat, ropey at the back. Not many positives to take from that one. |  |

Really is a sad indictment in our team when Skuse (who is well past his best) was badly missed. The amount of space Brentford found in front of our back 4 was scary at times. Especially when Chambers seems at least a yard off the pace.
Flat performance all round. Even Judge looked poor although I guess it doesn’t help that he’s playing with such poor teammates.
I was hoping we could find some positive form to end the season with so we could take some momentum into next season. I’m trying to remain optimistic that we can be a force in L1 but I fear we have a losing mentality which will be hard to shake off. |  | | |

What I took from tonight is my Brentford mate who had a bet on us getting relegated this season as soon as it was announced last season Mick was leaving was annoyingly spot-on with his prediction.

Disagree. Dozzell was lightweight and bang average tonight.
Yes he played a decent ball to Quaner but it wasn’t exactly eye of the needle stuff.
Otherwise he was anonymous and too easily dispossessed.
I’ve said it before he’s got potential but he’s a long way off being a consistent Championship performer, let alone a Premier League prospect.
That said, he’s not a winger.
