Agreed.
How do you propose we do bounce back?

Other than Lambert being a canny lad and we have a few decent youths coupled with the lower level of football. The tactics are actually more acute than ever at this level and don't get me started on the cheating we are about to witness.

We'll be in the top two this time next year.

We've won 4 games out of 42 - but next season we are going to win about 30 out of 46
with young untried players at League 1 - Not a Chance - best we can hope for is mid table stabilty for a season.....until the club is sold to someone who will invest in the squad
we are going no where, we may even brush with League 2 - but worry not as Lambo says the fans are triffic so it will all be ok.

Even sadder is we are going to be a very long time in the basement divisions, I mean a decade or more.

I hope you’re right, but there isn’t really anything to support that unfortunately

This.

It isn’t going to be as easy as people think down in that league.

I don't see it. Top 8 maybe but top 2 I have major reservations at the moment. Our defending is abysmal and we're still too soft going forward. PL is insistent on only bring in 3 or so faces, they're going to have to be pretty wiley League 1 characters to give us the knowledge we need to win the title. Right now we have ageing pros, a massive long term injury list and a crop of youngsters, nothing in between.

My heart says we'll be top two, but my head says Charlton and how difficult they've found it..

Out of that top 5 certainly in League One, there will be two very strong sides left in that league next season, along with two other Championship sides who finish above us, it'll be tough.

Oh yeah, throw in Lincoln too, who would have thought it....

I’m clinging on to Rotherham being the worst team ever to grace the division a couple of years ago yet they managed to go up via the play offs at the first time of asking. I’m trying not to consider Oldham, Port Vale, Swindon, Tranmere, Stockport...

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?
