Really good 200% piece on ITFC 14:24 - Apr 16 with 2807 viewsSteve_M

Another fair outsiders perspective I think:

Read that earlier, the stuff about Lambert is probably the most pertinent. The fact that so many of this "bounce back" notion is all coddled in the word "if" is the most depressing.

Yes a fairly good piece.

Although didn’t do much scratching beyond the surface issues.

Evans’ role and the failure to deliver what he planned to do when he took over in 2007/08 is ignored; as is the impact of getting rid of Macarthy. Evans caused significant instability when he failed to replace MM with the right manager.

Read the previous piece as well - my word, Coventry are in a pickle.

We can add them to the list of clubs who would do very well to still be in existence by the time the new season starts, alongside:
Bolton
Oxford
Macclesfield
Bury

And also Ebbsfleet from a step or two down.

Okay. Couldn't see any credits at all on the site.

"There have been protests this season. But Coventry supporters ire has been aimed at a hedge fund that doesn’t care what they think, a governing body that has no control over the council and the rugby club, a council that found itself dragged into row after row, through court case after court case, by the aforementioned hedge fund, and a rugby club who, as far as they’re concerned, bought a stadium legally and above board, only to find the sitting tenants acting as though they had the right to evict them and take ownership of it themselves."

At least Town fans have a focal point to protest at, the ones who feel they need to that is...

The piece on Bolton is equally, er, interesting.

No it didn't scratch beneath the surface, but it certainly offered a thoughtful sweep of our fall from grace to grime.

The issue for me for half picked up. We were limping out of the league and still played one up top to draw games, during other times this would be due to the managers ego or because he is a dinosaur

If it wasn't a problem for you before why is it a problem for you now?

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton
