It felt like a pre season friendly the way they were moving the ball about. Full backs not good enough, no midfield and a striker running up and down the left wing. Crazy

He was probably hoping that, like all the other teams that have been comfortably better than us this season, Preston would give up at 2-0 and just save their energy rather than keep going and scoring more, the big meanies.

Agree. A lot of teams have beaten us so thoroughly in the first half that the second half has been a training game. Think it was West Brom or maybe Boro at home on the TV. We were cut to shreds but they just couldn't be bothered to batter us.

Boro jogged into a 2-0 lead then walked the rest of the game. The reaction to that match was utterly bizarre as people were on here raving about how it was a sign that we were on a path to better things because they let us pass it around in front of them before overhitting a cross out of play for 45 minutes.

Boro and West Brom are more towards the upper end but the amount of very ordinary teams playing an average game and totally overpowering us is embarrassing and shows just how sh1te we are.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

He could get himself in a bit of trouble if he’s not careful. It looked like we turned a corner as at least we were putting the effort in, moving the ball around nicely and only not winning because of a lack of quality in the final third (which can be fixed in a transfer window). Rightly he was starting to build up some good will as progress was being made (some couldn’t see it, but it was).

Wheels are now coming off a bit on the performances and the results are starting to to reflect that. If there’s no improvement and we’re comprehensively beaten in the last few games, I suspect there’ll be an increasing number of fans wanting Lambert to go. I wonder what ME is thinking? Will Lambert himself start having doubts? Or maybe he’s a cert to still be hear next season as we know ME doesn’t act quickly. Or we beat Swansea 3-1 and prople will be happier again? Who knows...interesting times ahead.

If that was a motivated team, then we'll be in League 2 in a year's time. It was terrible, in every way.

Lambert is bad but Skuse was 'superb' again wasn't he? And our defence led by leader of leaders, eh?

What on earth are you talking about? Skuse didn't play because Mick picked yesterday, he played because Lambert picked him so where has your whataboutery come from? You need to let the obsession go and focus on what is happening now, we are a shambles and not improving.

Yes Lambert picked him but that doesn't stop to constantly keep lauding the player does it? He is superb as you say, eh? Reading the game perfectly and making good tackles, eh?

He was atrocious yesterday (like the vast majority of this team) but bizarrely your sole subject of criticism is Lambert.

Not really sure what you are talking about. I didn't say that skuse played well.

Not really sure what you are talking about. You seem to be desperate to either not accept that Lambert is failing or that your constant posting about us failing by previously not getting promoted is a bit off

You've been lauding him for years. Most recently: 'he is the best at our club in reading the game by a big distance, he is probably the best tackler in the club, he is good in the air, his technique is superb (see the boro volley) and he is always happy to show for the ball'.

That above is a comedy genius. You provide an entertainment.

So Lambert is failing but nothing wrong with Skuse, eh?

It is all correct and 4 managers have chosen to keep picking him for us as well, none of them have agreed with you however. He didn't play well yesterday but seems odd to make it all about him and ignore everyone and everything else

Mach is like the drunk guy on his own in the pub desperately trying to start a fight with anyone who makes eye contact with him.
