The thing is our fortuned haven't changed. We've pretty much been on the slide for a number of years now, and there's nothing to suggest that will change in the near future.
Evans has already stated that it is going to be a mixture of untried youngsters backed by a number of 'senior's. Nothing that suggests our fortunes are about to change. |  | | |

It's worse than that. They're going to be more than 60 points (!!!) better off than us by season's end.
Obviously, the most important thing to recover is the ability to get points. Used to be that we could get draws and wins even if we weren't playing that well. And we certainly made the opposition fight for everything. Now, we're a pushover.
Self-belief, confidence and momentum play a massive part but that won't come for free next season either. |  |

That last sentence says it all. Listened to part yesterday's commentary, way he'd highlight etc , also watched the Norwich game.
Norwich reminded me of the season we finished 5th in the top flight when, for supporters and players alike, every game was an adventure. Ipswich reminded me of the following season when it seemed, tome thee players, they were just going through the motions, just doing a job.
We still haven't recovered from that season and we start again in August in the third tier . Players have a shelf life and if they can't be motivated/arsed it is time to move on for the greater good. | |
