Next Season ... strikers 12:06 - Apr 20 with 765 views | waveneyblue | Next season will live or die on who Lambert can bring in to give us goals. None of our current batch are likely to hit double figures, this includes the loanees and the injured youth players. Get this bit right and we will be ok, rely on what we've got and its mid table or worse. Goals take the pressure off the rest of the team, it's been our issue since day 1 of this turd of a season.
Next Season ... strikers on 12:20 - Apr 20 with 712 views | J2BLUE | Would this include Harrison who got 14 goals in league one and has spent a season training with (allegedly) better players? League one will be a challenge but it's not the mega league some like to claim. We should, in theory, create more chances.

Next Season ... strikers on 12:25 - Apr 20 with 703 views | Darth_Koont | You're probably right that we need someone who can give us goals. Or at least be more clinical with the chances. But the big problem is that we're just not clinical as a side. Whether it's a midfield that doesn't score enough or create enough genuine chances. Or how our build-up play is too slow and just gives time for the defence to pack the penalty area. Or our defence that will cough up chances every game through indecision and ball-watching. We need to be more clinical, purposeful and effective all across the pitch, even if we get a striker who can bang them in. That should be easier to achieve next season but that's the main task for Lambert over the Summer IMO.
