News blackout 08:28 - Apr 24 with 3181 views | hampstead_blue | Does anyone know why the news channels have completely ignored the veterans protests? It does seem rather odd. Not a D Notice but darn similar!
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

I was under the impression that British law presumed innocence before proven guilty? You appear to have appointed yourself Judge, jury and executioner.

Maybe not that far right now, but there is certainly evidence that civilians (and even 'combatants') may have been murdered by British soldiers. If there is evidence, then it is only right that said evidence be examined and for those alleged to have gone beyond their terms of engagement to be tried according to the facts. If it turns out that those killed were legitimate targets within an armed conflict then the veterans involved have nothing to fear.
