Not sure that's true. Certainly I think Blue Action is keeping Lambert in the job whereas if the moaners were filling the silence then it would be a much worse and possibly untenable atmosphere around him and the team.
Of course, against all of that there was a complete boredom with the Championship and a desire for change too. I think that's what ultimately swayed things and created the void around the club. Mick as manager with 6 years under his belt was always going to become part of that problem rather than the solution unless he kept us at the top end of the table. |

Especially given we've had a whole season to appreciate what was being taken for granted before. |
