First goal 19:25 - Apr 27 with 1941 viewsNthsuffolkblue

Just re-watched it as a few were saying it was offside.

Both attackers are beyond the last man but they are more than 6 yards out and the cross is from level with the 6 yard box. Therefore both were onside (although McGoldrick didn't need to be as he wasn't involved in play anyway).

Says more about our defending in the centre and letting players go.

Good movement by Sheff utd, and static defending.

I thought Sheff Utd were excelent.

So quick and always on the front foot.

Yes, a Premier League team. They will stay up assuming they keep their players and add a couple of sensible signings.

Except the ball is passed forward...this makes them both offside.

Except the players are behind the ball when it is played

Indeed. Could have won by four or five.

All this really doesn't matter. We were beaten all ends up by a far far better team.

I was saying this earlier, the first might have been offside, the second may have been a foul on the keeper, but they deserved to win no matter, we were what we've been all season - pretty crap.

It's in my post.

I paused it from the camera angle that showed it best. The scorer is around 8 yards out (a clear gap to the six yard box) while the ball is leaving the foot of the player who is level with the six yard box (and McGoldrick is around 7 yards out too). It matters not where the ball is passed as that means they are behind the ball when it is played. This is why Sky did not make a fuss about how tight the decision was because they were clearly onside (but beyond the last man).

We were played off the park! The Blunts definitely deserved to win...we couldn't string a pass together! As soon as the ball arrived at the feet of the defence panic ensued. So disjointed like we haven't had a settled team who play together.....oh!

They will get smashed next season unless they recruit at least 4 really good players.

Sharp and mcgoldrick won’t cut it and they need a lot more pace out wide.

Hard to judge defence as we are so inept we didn’t test them in any way.

Poll: Cook out?
