Excellent article from Stuart Watson... on 14:23 - Apr 28 with 2524 views | GlasgowBlue | He's not wrong. Before we were "officially relegated" we were far more competitive, despite the gulf between us and the opposition. We've ;lost that edge since the B'rum game and we shouldn't take anything from the games since that day with regards to how we will perform in League One.

The curiosity being, changing managers has improved nothing other than the way the game is played - until the Brum draw?

Like a lot of the articles in the EADT. They generally say nothing at all. My biggest concern is about Lambert. A losing mentality presides now. Can he turn that round? We have to get power and pace into the forward line. If you score goals in Division one you do well. How far does Towns Scouting network or indeed Lambert's extend to bring these players in. Will Evans fund it.

It would be like me knowing that the pub is going bust and we're closing the doors for the last time on Sunday and we're going to open up again in August with a very reduced menu, a lot of new uncouth clientele on half of what I was earning before.

We've not really been competitive all season. I don't buy into the narrative at all (well it's spin really) that a side thats been bottom all season and never even threatened to leave bottom that cannot defend, create or score is somehow competitive and that we're only losing badly now because we're already down, implying that these teams wouldn't have beaten us prior to relegation by the EADT is bordering on delusion! The only one who didn't was Swansea!
Excellent article from Stuart Watson... on 04:07 - Apr 29 with 1612 views | MrTown | Disagree, the quality of the squad is v poor. Took MM years to build up a v good championship squad with our constraints, PH dropped the grenade a messed it up in 2 weeks. Will take Lambert a good few transfer windows to find some quality,’don’t think fans will maintain the patience. We need a new back 4 and 2 prolific strikers. Actually think in midfield we are ok. Strikers win games, defences win titles and we are shomablic in bother areas. [Post edited 29 Apr 2019 6:58]
