been aeons since I heard anything about the Yeti, used to be a big thing back in the day (Tintin in Tibet being my childhood go-to reference)

recently came across a wonderfully batty thesis by Myra Shackley (well respected in her day job work) that Yetis, Sasquatch etc. were remnant Neanderthal populations, who had been pushed to the outer realms of our inhabited worlds...
