I think he is a v good footballer. Bags and bags of experience at the absolute pinnacle of football.
- 5 Premier League titles
- 1 Champions League
- 1 FA Cup
Played with some unbelievable players, Van Nisterooy, Ronaldo, Rooney etc. but if the thought of playing alongside Chambers and Skuse doesn't wet his appetite he may as well hang up the boots.
In all seriousness, v good player, think he had a hiatus from football so his legs may still have something in the tank, would imagine Championship clubs will be sniffing around him though. | |

I like Mark Beevers, was reading reports on their players for the exact same reason to see if there was anyone worth nicking.
They say Beevers has been v good this season, too good for League 1 and may well look into sunset over in the MLS, with DC United.
29 years old, still in his prime, left-footed centre half and is out of contract int he summer. Would be worth a phone call for PL.
Paweł Olkowski likewise has had a good first season, performances supposedly dropped recently but not surprised with saga going on. 13 times capped international and considering its the Dortmund RB ahead of him, shows his level. | |

Agreed, also think his wage budget would be out of our ball park for L1. Would imagine the likes of him and Fletcher will be playing somewhere like Hull, Sheff Wed, Forest, Preston etc.
Judge is our marquee signing would imagine. Add Norwood hopefully and the rest I’m sure will be people we’ve never heard or seen of. | |
