Double-digits number of points adrift of safety without a whole lot of games left, it's been a pretty amazing turnaround from the Real Dons.
Long time hero Neal Ardley got the boot and went to Notts County (the less said about their fate today the better), Crazy Gang co-founder Wally Downes took over the broken reins and somehow got the three-legged horse up and running again.
Survived today by virtue of having a better goal difference than Plymouth (only 3 in it in the end) after a nervy 0-0 draw with already-around-the-U-bend Bradford. [Post edited 4 May 2019 20:20]

Have been finishing the 92 in recent seasons so have been to a lot of L1 and L2 clubs. Have to say that I have really enjoyed watching football away from the hype of the TV companies. Lots of older grounds, down to earth football fans, much easier to have a pint and a chat with fellow fans at the ground.
I think that Town fans may enjoy the experience more than they perhaps realise. It is football before Sky got in the way. | | | |

Are you talking about the fact that Wimbledon bought Kingstonian's ground after it had been separated from the club by their rather dubious owners, and then let the K's play there effectively rent free for many years? |  | | |
