Are we likely to hit the 12,000 10:31 - May 6 with 7806 viewsclive_baker

ST sales that unlocks the 10% kickback?

I wonder if yesterday might’ve encouraged a few that were on the fence, and given that it’s the deadline today perhaps a few were waiting until the last minute before committing?

Come on, if you’re thinking about it just do it, it’ll be a whole lot more enjoyable if we’ve got a decent crowd in there cheering the lads on, let’s make PR a tough place to visit again.

Uppa town

Edit: I notice the SBRL is pretty much sold out, good effort. Now for the same elsewhere!

I think we’ll miss it by about 200ish but I’m hoping if that’s the case they might reward us and do it anyway (unlikely I know) or worst case extend it by a week or so..

What a great atmosphere yesterday , that should surely encourage supporters to get a ST .

It should also show the players that the fans are right behind them .

Leeds fans added to the great atmosphere and if it's true there were no arrests , that's great credit to them too .

The fact it is sold out is misleading, as those with a ST from last season stay ‘sold’ until May 6th. They are then released a few days after this date

Club have admitted We’ve lost about 10% from last season who have not renewed, but gained around 2000 new ST holders. 12,000 was always a stretch.

Still a great effort, but the club will have known they were never going to hit the 13 or 14k target

Personally, I will be rather disappointed if we don't hit 12k.

In a funny way, the club have sort of backed themselves into a bit of corner, at least from a PR perspective.

11,500 will bring in more revenue than 12,000, but hitting the target will keep the feelgood fire stoked a bit longer and reward the most loyal fans with a deserved discount.

They'd probably rather not announce 11,850 at his point and dampen yesterday's high. My guess is they'll extend it for another week and see what happens.

Spoke to TO last week.

They believed 12k was attainable but were around a thousand short with not long to go.

They also do not believe the deadline will be extended. Last season everyone knew MM was leaving but did not know who was taking over or direction of club. So were given longer to commit.

This season is different, PL is in charge and it will be mainly younger players and a few senior pros.

Hi Clive,
I gave ST up two seasons ago through boredom after 16 seasons. I have just got on of the remaining SBR Lower tickets and am so excited to be back. Credit to all of you who stuck with it. I’ve always been in posh seats before (and been to noisy lol) so can’t wait to be in the thick of it. If you aren’t sure take the plunge. £15/game is crazy cheap and may turn into even less

They aren't going to admit they would extend it.

An extension would be the best way to get them out of a hole if we are a few hundred short. They probably won't trigger the discount but they can say they tried to make it happen.

At 12,000 the revenue is the same as 10,800, so we’re probably at a real sweet spot as far as the club is concerned at something between 11,500 and 12,000 so I doubt they’ll extend the deadline and not should they be expected to. They’ve been transparent from the start. What we need is probably another few hundred to snap one up today.

Completely agree. No complaints if they don't do it but we know some are waiting to kick off if it is >11500 but <12000.

I am a doubter (based on Evans track record) but after seeing yesterday's performance and football (which is the best we've played for the better part of 2 months now) I am going to renew tomorrow.

While that is true, the guy I spoke to gave a pretty good reason for why this year is different.

Because I am away due to bank holiday at the moment. How much of an arseache is it to renew by mobile online?

Not difficult at all. I did one on my mobile. Just have your bank account number and sort code ready unless paying outright in advance.

Either way it’s a remarkable support regardless. With more midweek games in a League One, I can understand why some may not renew - I travel and have just accepted I may not be able to make them all.

Would have thought there’d be less with no international breaks?

Between 6 and 8 when I had a look.

We had 8.

Evening kick offs. I didn't count games moved for bank holidays etc.
