Tooth extraction - no tea? 06:46 - May 8 with 1258 views | Swailsey | Hey Mumsnet, I had a tooth out yesterday - getting mixed advice from dentist about when I can drink (lukewarm) tea. Conscious of dry socket. Really need a tea. Help me. Much love, CS

Tooth extraction - no tea? on 11:02 - May 8 with 1044 views | DebsyAngel | I had one of my back ones taken out last year and had a nightmare month where it was not healing. I was terrified of dry socket and no help on the evening after I had it done got a bit of soft pasta caught in the hole but not allowed to swish it out as it could remove the blood clot. You can drink tea but make sure it's lukewarm and not hot, and whatever you do, don't use a straw to drink. Good luck with it.
