If you could rewrite the Premier League..... 15:42 - May 10 with 2058 views | TheSelkirk | When Premier League games are shown TV, live or highlights, there are many matches which, for me at least, have little potential glamour / interest due to the teams involved. (I could usually stop watching and make a cuppa about two thirds of the way through MOTD). I got to thinking about what my ‘perfect’ Premier League would look like. A league where the likelihood of a boring game would be significantly reduced. So, and not based on any particular criteria, science, logic, current form or rationale (before anyone tries to rip the thing apart with common sense or intelligent argument), I constructed my Premier League wish list…. 1. Manchester City 2. Manchester United 3. Liverpool 4. Chelsea 5. Tottenham 6. Arsenal 7. Ipswich 8. Newcastle 9. Sunderland 10. Budgies (purely for the derby games) 11. Dirty Leeds 12. Aston Villa 13. Nottingham Forest 14. Everton 15. West Ham 16. Middlesbrough 17. Charlton 18. West Brom 19. Millwall (purely for match days) 20. Sheffield Wednesday Just teams that I enjoy, or used to enjoy watching back in the day, with a few decent derby games thrown in. I remain a little uncertain of a few — particularly 16 to 20. How would yours look?

Lots of last minute goals and attacking style. Wolves deserve a spot based on how they have played this year too. If it's the 80s West Brom team, then definitely yes. But if we are going back that far then throw in Coventry and Le Tissier's Southampton

Cambridge United or Cambridge City? Although real football fans favour Histon Rovers Or Soham Rangers And no Ely City? edit: I've just checked and it is just Histon F.C., people in Glassworld stadiums shouldn't throw stones I guess... [Post edited 11 May 2019 6:56]
