The last line of the article reads.....

Mackrell has become the first person to be found guilty of any criminal offence relating to the disaster 30 years ago.

When the police investigate themselves for any wrongdoing it comes as no surprise to me that police officers are rarely found guilty of any crime - and that doesn't just apply to the Hillsborough case.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?
