Bit rubbish, aren’t they.

The only thought that has crossed my mind so far is that I hope Pompey go up so we don't have to put up with the bloke with the bell next season.

Resources at Sunderland are ridiculous. Leadbitter and Cattermole in midfield for them shows the financial disparity between them and everyone else

Agree. Laboured is a polite way of putting it. I thought Charlton looked a lot stronger than both these. Brett Pitman looks an old 31, though still decent on the ball.
As for the crowd, I’ve only been to Portsmouth once and I’ve never seen so many ugly people in one place. Looking at the animals when that player went in the stand, nothing much has changed.

Pompey would be my closest ground, so I hope they don’t go up. Some very odd people there though. I wouldn’t encourage a night out.

The thing that I am most worried about having seen these 2 of the supposed stronger teams in the division tonight, is the gamesmanship that most of the players show, diving faking injury etc and the physical battles, neither of which our young kids or indeed our squad as a whole are great at doing or dealing with.

With Portsmouth missing out suppose it increases the chances of Pompey selling Matt Clarke

Them, us, Rotherham and one of Charlton/Sunderland (or both if Doncaster win tomorrow) will surely be the favourites heading into next season. It's not going to be an easy ride for sure.

Agreed, Pompey look rather direct. Would prefer Sunderland to go up, have the most amount of quality in squad (McGeady, Maguire, Grigg, Leadbitter, Cattermole).

Think Pompey will lose best player Clarke (we get nice compensation)
Think Charlton will lose best player Aribo and Taylor.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Went out in Portsmouth a few weeks back, Richard Ashcroft gig. Most of the pubs around the Guildhall are rough as fook, full of agro. Some right ‘characters’ knocking around.

Nothing like it was in the 80s when I was at polytechnic down there for 3 years

I believe that John Anthony Portsmouth Football Club Westwood is still banned from PR after clog-dancing on the roof of the executive boxes for the duration of our 3-0 win in April 2003. He managed to sneak in to see the Cup game in 2008 without his regalia.

crikey, we're going to annihilate the opposition in that division next season.

Wait till you visit Newport.

Had to go there to get new passport. Lots of odd people, and that was midday!

A club that was in the Premier League a few years back & who are still receiving parachute payments have better players than other League 1 teams shock.

Didn't he get banned from Portman Road for walking on the corporate boxes?

I believe the Town stewarts won't allow the bell in any way?

Yes, he was.
But 5 years later the bell-end sneaked in, but without aforesaid bell.
