Not enough I suspect...

At a guess (based on when we signed them and where from and contract renewals)

Gerken £8k a week
Collins £10k a week
Ward £6k a week
Adeyemi £6k a week
Knudsen £15k a week
Dawkins £3k a week
Spence £6k a week

£54k a week, probably reduced by a third due to relegation clauses, so £36k a week, £1.9m over a season. That's a hell of a lot even if I've overstated their wages by double.

McGoldrick, Bart and a few others were close to that.

Didn't Knudsen get a revised deal off the back of being called up to Denmark before the World Cup?

He's certainly had one hefty pay rise since he's been here, around the time Denmark came calling and we all wanted to keep him.

add on the loan players wages too and the reduction of wages of the current playing squad and it’s a big wedge.

We will save some money but you’ve just pulled these numbers out of the air. You have no knowledge of what any of them are on.

You don't have to disregard the relegation wage reductions though, we're still saving overall the salaries from last season that we're not paying any more.
They seem to be saying we need to cut the squad from 49 to 33 - not sure we'll quite do that but if it's say 36, that works out as 13 players less on an average of probably £7k/week (don't forget the loan players were all on quite high salaries comparatively and also particularly if Bart goes) which is £4.73m over a year, maybe £5m including relegation clause reductions. We'll probably have to sell Bart for at least £1m and lose his salary entirely to just about get there.

Asolutely nothing - they were all out of contract so were certs to go. The real task starts now - how to seperate poor performers from their fat contracts knowing Lambo may well be gone by Xmas. That is the only way budget can be released for new signings - if any are actually needed.

Yep, nowhere near enough to fill the financial hole caused by relegation which has been reported as up to £9m.

Still, we're going to score 8000 goals and go up with 250 points.

Might get some cash in from Clarke, Mings and Webster.

No chance Bournemouth will sell Mings for a profit so we can forget getting any cash there.

Villa expect to pay 15+ million for him as he is basically the main reason they went on that winning run at the end of the season as quoted by their manager and several fans.

I thought that coincided with Grelish returning from injury? I suppose it'll depend on the outcome of the final too.

This is a genuine question, is there any reason to suspect Paul Lambert won't see out the season with Ipswich Town?

It's happened because of years of underspending. Evans has close to lost another £10million quid because since 2015 we have sold our better players, and brought in a lot of cheap and unwanted tat from elsewhere largely.

I have no problem with living within our means but equally it's sport too, your meant to try and build a winning team too. You need a balance and we just haven't had it here, it's all been poor Marcus has only so much to put in, FFP won't let us (but lets everyone else) and "we're trying to do something different". Well we did, it didn't work, and it's time to move in another direction.

We could have saved a lot of money by not having so many crud fringe players and gone for quality over quantity too over the years, some of Micks squads we used tons of awful players.
