Agreed, the amount of goals we leaked last season you have thought a CB would be on the priority list. Pennington gone, Collins gone, leaving us only Chambers, Nsiala as recognised CB’s. Woolfenden as a potential but unknown and square pegs such as Skuse & Donacien. 1 CB this summer must be a priority I’d assume.

Some of the key positions may well be filled by players coming in after pre-season has started. Pre-season is the time when he can assess the players he's already got and PL doesn't strike me as someone who makes knee-jerk decisions. Some current players may return a bit overweight (Marriot) or wanting away (Waghorn) or sick (Huws).
Let's wait and see.

I hope Woolfenden gets a real chance on the right hand side of central defence. He's decent on the ball which should help us build out from the back a bit more and better.I wouldn't be against a new CB but that probably depends on how close to first team action Ndaba is.

I’m sure that’s not lost on Lambert either tbh. Let’s not underestimate the Manager and coaching staff here.
