I was there. In the city Liverpool out numbered Spurs by about 5 to 1, loads of them everywhere and from Thursday as well....Liverpool fan park was unreal in terms of numbers and atmosphere, Spurs was pretty tame in comparison. There were also 1,000's of Liverpool outside the stadium with no tickets.
In the Stadium it was pretty even, although after the game finished behind the goal emptied and the neutral areas / corporates seemed to have a lot of reds in.
Game was rubbish, but as an event and atmosphere in the city it was incredible. Not a hint of trouble really as well...you don't mess with cops happy to smack you on the head with their truncheons it would seem. |  | | |

Difficult to tell "on the ground" in Madrid, but it felt like 2-3x as many Liverpool fans as Spurs. Inside the stadium, each had around 16,500 but in the neutral areas there were about 3 to 1 Liverpool. Around me in the ground (neutrals area) there were loads of Liverpool fans, from pretty much anywhere other than UK. I hardly heard a Liverpool accent all weekend.
Number of Spurs travelling was massively reduced by the decision to screen the game at the New Lane, which - I believe - sold out at 60,000 or so. Not a bad effort for a beam-back. |  | | |
