Not sure she would have apologised if she were not caught and if this was someone from a right wing perspective there would no doubt be calls for them to lose their job which might be taking it a bit far if I am honest.

I dont support what she did and belive in naming and shaming but some of the trial by social media is reaching staggering extremes. Goes to show how crap things have become and society is on a knife edge

Milkshakes being chucked around has nothing to do with it. Some people being tw@ts and taking protesting too far (when it’s likely they weren’t there in good faith in the first place) wasn’t invented yesterday.

I'm talking about the UK. We have had a long tradition of peaceful protest and counter protest. I'd be very concerned if the UK ever got like the USA.

I'm talking about the UK. We have had a long tradition of peaceful protest and counter protest. I'd be very concerned if the UK ever got like the USA.
We also have a long tradition of political violence, from Cable Street back to the Gordon Riots and beyond (arguably including the English Civil War). People want to have a good, hard think before they go down that route.
But the fuel is there. People on both sides who perceive they are losing or have missed out on prosperity, feel disenfranchised, are lacking means for expression or trust in responsible leadership. Both sides moving towards idealistic (and idealised) aspects of their positions, divorced from facts and reason. Scared or opportunistic politicians seeking to deflect or harness the energy.
Horrible girl. Mind you, apparently the guy she was shouting at is a known face on the protest scene. Makes you wonder if he was entirely innocent in all of this hoo-ha.
