I wonder who i 1st league 1 match will be against. Would we prefer a home game or a road trip. I think we will start the season at burton albion. Lets have some guesses!

I would prefer to avoid the 'good tests' until we have settled in to the season. A few easy wins to get the season underway would be nice.

I am not sure where they will come form though. Maybe Southend at home, they weren't great last year.

Still possible I suppose. With Bury's financial woes it is concievable that they could go out of business before the new season starts, in which case, who knows, Plymouth could get a reprieve.

Sitters is referring to the fact that the Scum fixtures are out next week so we'll know if we're home or away as it'll be the opposite of them

I see what you mean but it would be a gauge to see how well we cope with a team that went close to promotion last season we will find out .

But it usually starts off H A H A...

So if Norwich are A for their first fixture we will be at home that weekend meaning away first game of the season.

Taking into account we will be away on the 24th August due to Ed Sheeran then we will be at home the first game of the season.

The PL kicks off the weekend after the EFL. So whatever Norwich get for their first game - home or away - we will likely have the weekend before.

For Ed Sheeran, it may be easier for the league to simply reverse the venue for that one game rather than change a whole fixture list, plus, Norwich, plus Col U etc.

Or could be moved to midweek.

On a selfish note i would rather we didn't have a home game until the kids have returned to school, as i often miss a game or two at the start of the season due to a family holiday or other summer holiday activities.
