The last time we won an FA cup match was 2009/10 season.
9 failures in a row.
This could be the year we break that bogey.
1956/57 was the last time we didn't play in Round 3.
This is going to be a season where we set new records - but not the ones we can be proud of.

As the first round last season included teams such as Weston Super Mare and the Met Police, failing to reach the third round could be an embarrassment.

Though we could also draw Sunderland, Portsmouth, Doncaster, Coventry etc. as well, where elimination wouldn't be as much of an embarassment.

We like being knocked out by sides two levels below us, though, so bring on the Blue Square Premier victors.

Poll: Which formation should we play moving forward?

I wanted to do something to show my appreciation of your post, somehow an uppy doesn't seem right given the content.

Sod it - uppy for the facts however unpalatable they are.

In the 38 games in which ALB played in goal for us, we averaged 1.53 points per game which, had they been over the course of a single season, would have seen us challenging for the play offs. This at a time when we were otherwise struggling against relegation. Oh, and didn't Mick Mills have terrific posture.

As a reasonably big fish I expect us to be on national TV, especially if we're drawn away from home.

Libraries gave us power

I think we are immune to embarrassment at this stage after losing to the Dog and Duck numerous times over the past 15 years
