Saw them at the Roundhouse last year with my middle son. It was epic.
I feel if they had made more they would have headlined Glasto and stadiums worldwide
Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
They were great. Loved "Queen Jane" and still have one of their Radio 1 sessions recorded on a cassette.
If we are talking 90s bands, then I would vote for Stereolab. Would post one of their videos but the only ones you can get on You Tube are live performances.

Not a band (at least he's not in one anymore) but a solo artist with a band. I discovered Davy Knowles about 10 years ago when he was on BBC breakfast, when he played a snippet of 'saving myself'.
I have seen him play live 4 times, he plays loud and with passion. Yet most people, even those into blues/rock, haven't heard of him.
I ***king love Earl Brutus. 2 albums that didn't do much but they were the Mutt's nuts
@Melford - with you on the Brutus front, fantastic band.
The SAS And The Glam That Goes With It is on frequent rotation round my way due to a neighbour being the very embodiment of Ginger Satan, although I imagine the Brutus had a different odious ginger in mind in '97
