Just looking on the beeb website.

I'm sure a few years ago, Man U hosting Chelsea on the first weekend would have been the main headline.

Doesn't matter, they'll still squirm there way to safety this year.

Lots of last minute penalties and reds to the opposition.

Was just thinking that myself - it didn’t even get mentioned in their running commentary on the opening day

Not got the easiest of finishes either.

Chelsea (A)
Burnley (H)
City (A)

If they're not safe by the end of April, they're b*ggered.

I may be in the minority but I'd prefer to be playing Liverpool away in the first game of next season, to who we *will* be playing.

Yeah, but think of how many chances we'll get to see Performance Improvement this season.

Anfield in front of tens of thousands - and on the telly in front tens of millions.

Rochdale in front of 'one man and his dog'.

Just hope they get slaughtered

Already had one mate whinging to me that it's a massive fix (based on their start and run-in).

They're playing the other 19 teams twice, home and away. I'm not sure how they're getting a bum deal compared to the other clubs.

Nice to see they're getting their excuses in early though.

I too laughed at that team, they must be miserable being in the premiership and having to play against those teams

Rather be worried about getting hammered by Liverpool away opening day than us getting beat by Accrington away.
