I have found attending these fixtures near pointless given the modern habit of playing 2 different XIs in each half, or near enough. I don't doubt that makes sense from a squad fitness point of view, but it does make them a hard watch.
And here was me thinking we'd do quite well last season after the promising performance against West Ham last year. What a star Ellis Harrison looked in the making! |  |

Harrison looks more like he could make more of a go of spearheading our attack than Jackson. However, any striker needs players to come and support him, whatever formation you deploy. | |
