I've relatively recently read the following, which are all excellent:

What I talk about when I talk about running - Murakami
Jog on - Bella Mackie
Born to run - Chris MacDougal
Feet in the clouds - Askwith

Any good'uns?

I really enjoyed Feet in the Clouds. Something a bit different from the standard biographical stories.

In the latter category, there are the books by elite long distancers, like Scott Durek’s EAt and Run. Or Dean Karnazes Ultramarathon Man.

I quite enjoyed Ira Rainey’s Fat Man to Green Man. It’s not a literary great, but he writes with wit and this charts his attempt at the Green Man ultra that winds its way around Bristol.

Scott Jurek's book is also worth a read... Eat And Run.

The one I really want to read is the Zatopek one.

Have you send the documentaries about the Berkley marathons? They are awesome.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I listened to the Bella Mackie book, very good not only from a running point of view but also to anyone suffering mental health problems or for those who have family members suffering.
