Adds some detail to the discussion on here the other day that we're becoming less tolerant. Clearly, we have a long way to go to get back to these levels.

The only problem is we'll now see the last bastions of these types of values. And of course those are pretty extreme racists, homophobes and misogynists who are angry (and dangerous) because society has rightly marginalised them.

The article makes the very good point that the language and stories used to describe gay people are now turing up in reference to transgender people.
