Would just like to place on record... 10:53 - Jun 18 with 1604 viewshoppy

A big thank you to EdwardStone for his hospitality in hosting another TWTD BBQ at his Gloucestershire estate - always an enjoyable event, and a great weekend. The weather couldn't stop us, and although a smaller gathering than there has been on other occasions, great to see you all and look forward to next time!

Good company, good beer, good conversation and the gazebo defeated the rain.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Was there a Wisdom Of Crowds on how we'd do this coming season?!

Strangely enough, the football didn't feature much in conversations.
(apart from reminiscing about the various thoughts that were discussed ahead of last season at last year's BBQ, and how well that all went...)

Fair enough, I guess it might have put a bit of a damper on things if that's how it went last year!

Here here

Always a good weekend, due to the company in attendance, was good to see you all.

Shame H was busy and Ciderman was away... Considering it's a bash for the West Country town fans, the Ipswich and London attendees outnumbered them.

Not that it’s a competition, but more west countryites would surely add to the occasion! Hopefully next year!

Yes was indeed a pleasure to meet up once again.

Highlights surely have to be the ride round the country lanes in Mr Stones's 1950 era Lithuanian jeep, me mistaking a horses @rse for a petrol bowser in the middle of a field , and Mr Stone doing his best Phil Jupitus "Jackanory "impression reading a Peppa Pig story by torchlight round the fire to Yasmin.

Happy days ......

I don't think the Phil Jupitus 'impersonation' was necessarily intentionally so, but uncanny nonetheless. Yasmin enjoyed it anyway.
