Hijack the Tory Leadership vote? 13:33 - Jun 18 with 1641 viewsMarshalls_Mullet

What are the rules in terms of eligibility to vote?

Can you just sign up / pay up for membership and get a vote on the next tory leader / PM?

There are only something like 160,000 Tory members, so the vote could surely be hijacked to get Rory Stewart in?

What do you think UKIP/BP supporters have been doing for the last few months? Believe it's too late to join and get a vote now.

Do you think the Tories are as stupid as Labour? You need to be a member for three months before voting and the MPs decide the final two.

If you were going to highjack the leadership contest then you would back somebody like Michael Fabricant, not somebody with real talent like Rory Stewart.

Both sets of voters certainly are, backing them election on election for achieving nothing and talking a big game. As far as I am concerned the Brexit Party, Lib Dems and Greens doing well is a great sign for politics as it means the career liars are finally getting a kicking, one a long time coming.

If anything, the shift to the Brexit Party is a shift towards even more career liars. Worse, these are liars with failed careers.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Do you really think some people would be so unscrupulous as to join a political party they don't even support in an attempt to hijack the leadership contest? It doesn't seem likely to me.

Why don't you start with, the Tories are the most inept government for 30 years and labour can not land a fekin glove on them?
