I wouldn't be surprised if one or two players are lined up now. We seem keen to get our squad together in time for Germany which is two weeks away. A left back, a left winger and a new keeper? Others ins might depend on departures. |  |

Sad to see him go, feel like Bart's been one of our most genuinely memorable figures from the last few years - the sort of player I'll still remember fondly many years from now.
That said it's good to see the club getting this done early so we can focus on building the team and not speculating about the inevitable sale of high earners. I really thought we'd sell him on the last day in the hope of holding out for a few more groats without having any sort of replacement lined up.
If we sign a good centre half not prone to injury and a genuine first XI quality wide man, I'd be happier with our transfer business than I have been for years. |  |

A dross club, but a league better than us, sadly. For him it’s not a step up but by going he is not stepping down, so I understand why he’s gone. However, I agree, I’m surprised he’s not gone to a better club but good luck to him. He’s been a good player for us and possibly saved us from relegation a season or two earlier. |  | | |

He was genuinely terrible last season to be fair. I love Bart, but you can't have a season like that and expect a top Championship side to come in for you. | |
