Would be a decent addition at left back and an upgrade on Kenlock, from what I have seen, if we were prepared to spend a few hundred grand.
He's now 26 and has only played 5 times for Everton. Been out on loan for 3 of the last 4 seasons at the likes of Wigan and Oxford.
Oxford want him back on loan. Quite simply he isn't going to break through at Everton now in his mid 20's. Can't imagine they'd want much for him (£250,000) which will no doubt be a kings ransom for us, but for a full back that would be a big upgrade on what we have and could potentially step up, I'd take him.
Along with Nathan Thompson on a free, that would be a decent pair to strengthen a weak part of the team.

Agreed. And I think we are now in one in one out territory. Not necessarily like for like position wise. For instance I would think Lambert would like to dispose of Roberts and replace him with a left sided squad player who can play left back or centre back. |  | | |

I don't mind Kenlock, think he is better than some on here believe, his ungainly style of running seems to be an issue for some which is odd.
Looks comfortable on the ball and is often looking to move the ball forward to feet. |  | | |

Loan to permanent I believe as his contract is up at the end of next season. | |
