We’ll see won’t we.
Whilst I’d be delighted if he came to Town, I honestly can’t see it ( if his comments regarding being near to home, having a new baby etc etc), are indicative. His wife/ partner may also not want to be too far from home given their young family. He apparently is too driven by money ( unusually) so Town can’t win on that front. I’d hope he has a chat with Norwood , maybe that will persuade him .

He's also talked to Plymouth so I'm guessing he's keeping his options open and isn't focused purely on staying local to the North West. I expect we'll find out one way or another this week. | |

A young family costs money and even if he’s not driven by money.... he could weigh up a move here as maybe his last chance to get a decent contract or that extra few quid in a profession which is short. We’re talking 2 or 3 years here. If he’s not interested.... why travel to both Ipswich and Plymouth?
It may be good to see a player choose family over money, but flip side to that is we need players who have that ambition or desire. If he makes that decision then no great loss. | | | |
