I think we still need a left back, centre back, left winger and striker. I doubt we'd get all for but looking at whose available from those released by, or let their contracts run down with fellow Football League clubs these could do a job?
Left Back: Either Ben Coker or Stephen Hendrie from Southend - I think Coker inparticular is pretty highly rated?
Centre Back: Either Adedeji Oshilaja from AFC Wimbledon or Ryan Tafazolli from Peterborough - both played the majority of games at this level last season and would offer much needed experience in the fourth centre back spot.
Left winger: This is the toughest position to fill; I can understand why Lambert was looking at Mayor. May possibly look to fill with the academy players or a loanee unless Craig Conway fancies dropping down a level.
Striker: I fear our best option will be Will Keane - I say fear as his injury record is shocking and a big risk on a lower budget. I can't see David Nugent being attracted to a League One club. Nathan Tyson might be a calculated gamble from Wycombe as he tends to blow hot and cold
