Lambert v Lankester on 07:23 - Jul 8 by BloomBlue | 'Out to win the league' is surely what every club should be aiming for at the start of the season. However in some leagues like the Prem maybe someone's target will be slightly lower based on transfer money. Aiming and target are 2 different things |
Erm ... what?! In any league in the world they'll be a few teams who are targeting winning it and those that have realistic aims elsewhere. You think anyone over than Rangers or Celtic target winning the league in Scotland? Same for Bayern and Dortmund in Germany, Barca and Real in Spain, Ajax and PSV in Holland. You think Luton, Barnsley, Wigan etc think they can win the Championship? They'll be a handful of clubs who will genuinely go into the season thinking they have a chance of winning League 1 next year, we will be one of them. | |
