No U21 team has even got close yet, but it'll happen at some stage.
Will make a total mockery of the competition. Now Shaun Harvey has gone, we can only hope the next person up will get rid of the U21 teams but as money talks more than integrity I am sure they won't.

I reckon the U21s would get the support from the fans of their senior team. (And remember Wembley fills up even if the senior team only gets home crowds of 15k). Swansea got into the semis a couple of seasons ago and it started to take off down here.
Probably depends who it is though. A top 4-6 club the fans probably wouldn’t care, but anyone in the bottom half who hasn’t been to Wembley for years would do ok. |  |
