... and deserved 3 down votes (Mullets don’t count). And it is still pre-season.
But Bart and a couple of other senior players really let the fans down last season; yes they let down a projecti that doomed to fail under Hurst, but we pay these guys a lot of money and they have to be accountable.
I still love Bart though, and hope he takes the number one shirt this season and eradicates the flapping. | |

Yes, he did and he'll be the first to admit it I feel sure, but soon as someone makes a mistake they are chastised on here. Bart actually looked a lot more is old self finishing last season's campaign. I'm waiting for Holy to make a few errors and then he'll get overly criticised, 'The man is 6'9'', why didn't he come for that cross?' I appreciate Bart is our highest paid player, but that's not going to stop handling errors, a loss of concentration, misjudgement or playing games to perfection, it simply doesn't happen. Lets see how he responds on Friday at Colchester United. If the mistakes continue to occur then I'd be more concerned, but this necessity to keep highlighting every error he keeps making is becoming ridiculous. | |
