Imagine the trepidation we might be feeling if our next match was against a team that really, really love to beat us, who happen to be fielding a goalkeeper whom we just released. That would just be mad.
It is but pre-season friendlies are a different kettle of fish and often don't indicate a lot.
The form from the end of one season often carries over into next provided there isn't a large turnover in players.
I wouldn't worry too much what happens in the last few friendlies. However, we need to get a team together and playing and get into the winning habit as quickly as possible.
