there is an office block in West Hampstead, by the railway and the builders supplies depot, classy....

It's the old Accurist office at the back of Homebase and Sainsbury's. A real dive of an industrial street opposite were you are talking about.

Totally with on the last para - i used to live near liverpool street station for a year and the racket in the summer when you needed open windows was horrible (and that flat was well set back from the tracks, so these must be grim) | |
