Bobby Moore? Physical presence......simply no. The man was a world class defender because he could see things happening before they did. I'm certainly not saying Skuse equates to BM, what I'm saying is Skuse's strength is reading the game and he likes the ball to feet which suits PL's desired system of play from the back. That's why I suggested dropping him back into our defence to partner Woolfenden against Burton, we've certainly got enough options already in central midfield to cover his absence from that area of the pitch. | |

I would not say Bobby Moore had a huge physical presence, an aura but not a presence.
He could tackle and tackle well but his game was mostly based on anticipation, his reading of a situation was almost uncanny.
Norman Hunter had a physical presence and was unlucky to be around as the same time as Bobby Moore otherwise he would have gained loads for caps.
