Wow, I worked in this shop way back in 1985 when it transformed from a clothes (Burtons?) to the first Mcdonalds in the city. 3 months there working for an Ipswich fibrous plastering co. One of the local workers managed to get me a ticket for the sell out Everton v Liverpool derby which I think the reds won 3-2. Fond memories of my time up there and one night even experienced the native uprising.

Back in the 80s a district of the city, Toxteth often had nights of unrest and I happened to be close by the night in erupted while i was there working on that Mcdonalds
