It would also be dragging the monarch into politics, which is considered extremely bad form.

Who's to know whether she was actually ill or not tho ;)

Christine won't be happy. Well worth 13mins of everyone's time.

She's even wrong about the fish & chips. The practice of using newspapers (which had all but fallen out of use anyway) was prohibited in 1985 under UK legislation: seven years or so before the EU existed.

Bit like the 300+ economists who said the markets wouldn't crash 10 years ago.

As I've said to a couple of these economists the day you guarantee it will happened and you give all your money and pension pot to charity if it doesnt I'll believe you. I've not yet found one who will take up that offer, strange when you think are insistent it will happen

So, in that case, are you happy to put all your money on a no-deal Brexit being a resounding success?

Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

Doubtful that it was ever his intention.

The only way Boris can have any long term success is to call an election soon after becoming leader. He can then continue to pretend he will leave with no deal, scoop up the BP votes, gain a majority, then accept some Theresa May type deal.

He can't leave with no deal, and if he waits too long the BP and the public will cotton onto his dastardly plan and there will be a Tory/BP vote split.

So parliament has now blocked a managed deal and no deal.
It's very good at blocking things but not very good at coming up with solutions.

Maybe that’s because there isn’t a viable solution?
