OK, and you thwarted my comment about 'Maybe there is nothing the matter with Jasmin' at the final line. But I felt there was too much 'slap' on the drum sound (avoided the 'thunk' trap that a lot of 'modest' studios fall into though, drums are often the most difficult to record). Felt that something more was needed to sustain interest over repeated plays - strings? some electronica? Good that you have not prettied up the voice, hope that does not stop you getting some airplay.

Thanks for the feedback, the studio I recorded in was a fairly good one, I’ve been saving up for a while... if you want to pay for me to do my next one Abbey Road then you’re more than welcome;) Glad you enjoyed the tune though:) rest of the EP’s out on 2nd August
Quite catchy, sounds like the kind of thing which would do well if enough people hear it. A bit of a summer/festival circuit tune (in the sense of one which you might expect to hear played there).

Sorry, never even put my hand in my pocket enough to promote a gig let alone produce (also, much as I love listening to music I am completely useless as a musician - and I think a producer needs to be a good musician to appreciate what is possible, much like a football manager needs to have played the game to some degree of achievement). However, another thought on what could be overdubbed to give the single a boost if you need to re-release, it may sound singer/songwriter corny but done well and with restraint a harmonica can give the listener a motif to attune to and get in the mood of the writer.
Have you considered getting in touch with the John Peel Centre? They run an 'Emerge' night where they ask artists to send examples in an they then select four to play a new and emerging talent night. Its these bands that get asked to support the larger acts.

I think the fact you've produced a song at all is something in itself. Its easy to knock people. You clearly have a talent. For me its a little bland and safe - but thats just my taste in music. Good luck to you.

“Its easy to knock people“
“For me its a little bland and safe”
Very easy for you apparently
My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

As for the bland and safe comment, I usually create indie/ pop music which isn’t completely unique but i’m big and ugly enough to take it ( despite Footers advances;) ) I don’t mind the odd bit of criticism of course, that’s part of putting your music out there:)

Cheers for giving it a listen to everyone.
You should ask a label for an advance, not me.
Just a bit of 'insider' know-how.
Although I'll slip something in your pocket if you like.
