I’m one of those ST holders and will cancel my DD if he is sold and not replaced.
We cannot need 450k when we have received 2 windfalls and would be dismantling a key cog of the team 2 weeks before the season kicks off.
Is in no way acceptable unless Judge himself makes it impossible for us to keep him. |  |

I don’t think you would be alone either. People who think us selling Judge could have no long term impact are short sighted. If and only if Judge is sold with no investment put back in then it will be Marcus Evans who will feel heat publicly for the very first time. |  |

An overreaction, but I can see why fans who'd been tempted back by the promise of doing things differently and making a concerted effort to build a winning team will feel cheated.
Even if this more perception than reality, it won't be good for the club in terms of convincing lapsed supporters that Evans has learned from the past. |  |

Best we could hope for is a Mill . Would PL get that cash to replace him ? If we dont get the expected results would the selling of one of our best players put more pressure to get those results ? How long will it take for the season ticket holders attending to get dispirited and the atmosphere to turn ? |  | | |

I will never "leave" (stop supporting) my club just because of a certain player departing.
Still, I would be disappointed. With all our injuries we are short on quality and need to utilize what we have.
Another aspect is the dreadful last season, there is a good point for Evans to show some intent at least in regard to not letting players go for pocket money. | | | |

If he wants to go, he'll go, whether we or the Club like it or not.
Players hold the power these days, and have done so for years.
Contracts mean little to them and loyalty is very rare.
PL is right in holding out for a decent" fee - and for pointing out what we have done for the player, but ultimately holding onto a wantaway player is no good for anyone. |  |
