You make it sound like there is more than one (unless you are expecting the mission to overshoot and end up orbiting Jupiter or Saturn).

Poll: Luton or Dubai ?

It's more likely to disappear up Uranus.

Nice to know the £98m the British government is giving India is spent on helping the poor.

Does say it is their second moon mission which would suggest they had been before or they are looking to visit the second moon. Perhaps NASA has been keeping that a secret as well as faking the moon landings.

Great, now as well as anti-science to accommodate flat Earthers and Moon landing deniers we have to accept a second Moon for the sake of schizophrenics...

It is ring-fenced, so yes it is...

Come on Grizzly. we all know that poorer countries are not allowed to have any ambitions in science and technology when they are receiving aid.

Only countries that have eradicated poverty like us should be allowed to spend money on things like this.

Plus a simple google search provides info that traditional aid to India ended in 2015. This 98m over 2 years is investment in technology etc that "is firmly in our interest."
Shame DD cannot be content with having been a useless Brexit Minister without stirring like this with simplistic conclusions about more complex matters

A lot of it is isn't it. 'Aid' is as much about building relationships with the recipient country and with co-multilateral donors and international institutions, plus furthering our own interests. Even the money spent on the ground provides opportunities for our people and organisations to get involved and work in the host country.

Those involved in politics will know this, so any of them agitating against it are just pandering to their support base, nothing more. (A few years ago I'd have been surprised if anyone didn't know this, but we seem determined these days to show peak stupid/gullible repeatedly).

It should be ring-fenced but also stipulations that it's not used in this way:

Should be directed at renewables only if energy generation is the usage.
